Grit to Grace: Built for Glory is a faith-rooted community for women who sense a divine calling and are ready to steward it with intention. It is a sacred space to gather, discern, and begin shaping what God has entrusted to you, in community with women who honor both the weight and wonder of purpose. The community is free to join at this time, with optional 1:1 purpose partner sessions and select gatherings offered separately.

Grit to Grace Community Core Offerings

1:1 Purpose Partner Sessions

A Purpose Partner session is your opportunity to share what God has been nudging you toward, the assignment already inside of you.

In a 60 minute session with Kenisha, you’ll explore what’s stirring, clarify what you’re being called to build, and translate insight into an action based plan.

Together, you’ll talk through outcomes, structure, and direction whether God is calling you to build a nonprofit, a business venture, or a philanthropic initiative.

Purpose Partner Meetups: Workshops and Events

You weren’t meant to walk this out alone. These monthly, in-person & virtual gatherings create space for sisterhood to form and community to grow among aligned, like-minded women choosing to walk in their calling  and fuel obedience in action.

Through shared walks and runs, business planning sessions, prayer, sisterly outings, and learning new things together, we unpack life, process transitions, and move forward side by side.

Our Source of Truth

The role of this community is to create space to listen, discern, and respond in obedience. My commitment is to walk alongside you as God brings clarity, strengthens your faith, and leads you toward the life you were always meant to live.

Purpose is not something we force.
It is something we follow.

Community Pillars

Faith

We start with God. Jesus Christ is at the center of everything we do. Always. Faith is not an add-on here. It’s the foundation. This community creates space to get still, get honest, and hear God again.  Because when your faith is centered, everything else begins to come into alignment.

Obedience in Action

This is where your faith meets your feet.
We’re not just praying about purpose, we’re walking it out.
Starting the thing. Saying yes again. Leaving what no longer fits. Moving at God’s pace, not the world’s.

Purpose-Driven

We’re not chasing purpose. We’re walking it out — step by step, prayer by prayer, assignment by assignment.
From boardrooms to businesses, motherhood to ministry, we move when God says move. Clarity doesn’t always come before obedience sometimes, it follows it.

I’m a true testament to Kenisha’s impact. When I first started in this field, she believed in me enough to bring me into her projects and invest in my growth. She opened doors and created connections that went far beyond the work—placing me in rooms that once felt uncomfortable, but ultimately shaped my confidence, clarity, and sense of purpose.

Her belief didn’t just influence my career; it transformed how I see myself and what I know is possible.

There have been many moments—both big and small—throughout my time knowing and working alongside Kenisha through Black Girls Can. I’ve witnessed both incredible highs and deeply challenging times. In every situation, she meets the moment with unwavering trust in God, confidence in our ability to navigate whatever comes our way, and a commitment to lead with love and grace.

At the same time, she prioritizes our safety and well-being by honoring boundaries, ensuring that care for ourselves comes first.

I had a wonderful and thought provoking time working with Kenisha and Black Girls Can! It opened my eyes to how to run my own business and what it really means to do purpose driven work. The impact her platform had on the youth and the way she treated her staff was truly special. I think anyone who claims that they take pride in community service should see how it’s done working with Kenisha, the open lines of communication, the organic nature of the atmosphere, the ability to let everybody get into their own comfort zone was amazing!
